Hardline social commentary:
Casteism, mob versus justice, economic class differences—these themes naturally transcend the boundaries of Sab.
Dabangg cinematography:
Ishan Ghosh and Sachin S. Pillai give the film a closed, breath-taking backdrop with precise camera movements.
🧑🎭 Performance
Abhishek Banerjee:
Gone from his comic image in ‘Stree’, here he delivers his most powerful performance in a creative and serious role—strict, sensitive and driven by a sense of justice.
Shubham Vardhan:
Playing the role of the idealistic brother, he brings an emotional balance to the film.
Mia Melzer:
With tremendous restraint and pain, she portrays a mother with surprising seriousness
✍️ Direction & Writing
Despite being Karan Teepal’s first film, he has created a fierce, well-crafted thriller. There is no visual exaggeration, just depth through simplicity—which keeps the viewer captivated. The dialogue and screenplay are direct, sharp, and effective.
⚖️ Negatives
There is a slight lack of character building at some places—Raman seems a little too morally conflicted and Gautam too spontaneous.
Not as glamorous as Mumbai blockbusters, but that adds to the realism of this film.
